Nike SB Dunk Low x StrangeLove Skateboards Valentines day is coming up and as usually Nike SB also celebrates this day with their newest valentines Dunk Low Pro. But special about this years release is that it’s an collab with StrangeLove Skateboards. StrangeLove Skateboards is the brand of Sean Cliver, who you could know from his book Disposable that is about Cliver’s work as an Boardgraphic Designer through the years. which also has gotten his own dunk. Now Cliver has also his own skatebrand which is based in California and has unmistakable graphic style. Which is also represented in their Dunk which features a pink and red upper with the mudguard, eyelids and wings being made out of an bubblegum pink suede is the rest of the upper made out of velvet. Pastel pink velvet on the toe box, mid panel and back and red velvet on the Swoosh, niketab on the back and the inside. Another special feature is the on the heel embroidered heart looking skull. The midsole is white and features contrasting pink stitching and the outsole is held in an translucent pink with red and blue hearts underneath on the heel and toe area and also an red Nike SB logo in the middle of the outsole. The sockliner features a skateboard with an arrow in it and the words „soul mate“ on the right shoe and on the left two conjoined Cupids and the StrangeLove and Nike SB logos. As for the laces, comes this shoe with one red, one white and one red, pink and white pair.
